Located only minutes from downtown Old Saybrook. There are two bathrooms, one is located on the first floor (1/2 bath) near the entrance and kitchen. The second full private bathroom is located on the second floor. Also included in your stay is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. We also just installed AC. NO SMOKING. NO ANIMALS. NO USE OF THE MOORING OR RED DINGHY. What to Do? Two major shopping premium outlets, Westbrook and Clinton. Award winning casinos, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. Close to Mystic Seaport, Mystic Aquarium, Gillette Castle, the New London ferry which departs daily to Block Island and Long Island. Beautiful beaches. New Haven nightlife 25 minutes south on I-95 or Middletown’s restaurant’s 25 minutes north on Rt. 9. Getting Around? Train station is 3 miles from the cottage for easy travel to Boston and New York located in Old Saybrook with complimentary parking. Essex Taxi and Uber provide transportation services in town. Other Things to Note. The Town in-forces sound ordinance at 10PM every night. Academic rental available. Please DO NOT park on the grass, due to the septic system being there. We are limited to 3 vehicles, 1 in the garage and 2 in the driveway. DO NOT park on the street or along the street as police and neighbors monitor and the vehicle may get towed. At the end of your stay please: -close all windows -turn off the lights -return anything you’ve moved back to its location -It would be very helpful if you simply put both the green & blue bins at the end of the driveway along with any garbage from your stay. -check for left behind items Thank you and safe travels home!
