Wake up refreshed after a good night's sleep and enjoy a first cup of French press or Keurig coffee (or choose from a variety of teas!) in the cottage's lovely, bright kitchen. Take the second cup onto the porch and take in the sounds of nature, the smell of the pines, and the occasional family of deer passing by. In the Spring, the cottage sits next to a green field with blooming dogwoods and a lovely Japanese maple. On clear nights, it's a perfect spot for star gazing! Guests will have access to the entire house (about 850 square feet). There are two entrances, one in the front and the other off of the second bedroom. The driveways to the cottage and the main house are separate and there is ample parking. The best thing about the neighborhood is how spread out the houses are. This is truly a place to relax and enjoy the quiet! Please be advised that the cottage feels very remote (despite the proximity to the highway) and gets quite dark at night in the absence of a lot of nearby lights.
