The Hawk’s Nest - balcony view of New River Gorge

Our Hawk's Nest home is spacious and contemporary with balconies, views, fireplaces, comfy rooms, and fenced yard- a great stay for event groups, families, professionals, and friends. Climbing and fishing areas at Cotton Top are a 7 minute drive, or hike from the house! Hawks Nest State Park is just around the bend, and a short easy drive to adventures, dining and shopping in the New River Gorge areas of Ansted, Lansing, NRG National Park, Fayetteville and Oak Hill. The space The Hawk's Nest home is spacious, comfortable, contemporary, and functionally stocked, waiting to be filled with activity. Inside, you'll find 3 fireplaces (gas and electric), a casino game table with roulette, craps and blackjack, high-speed WiFi, and 2 smart TVs. The kitchen is stocked with cooking, baking, serving and dining wares. A workspace table is also provided in the kitchen area. Bedrooms (second floor) provide closets and chests: 3 queen bedrooms and 1 double bedroom. The primary bedroom boasts a dressing room, sunroom with fireplace, and en-suite bathroom. Other bedrooms have access to balconies providing a view of the New River Gorge across the road. Bed and bath linens are provided. Toiletries are found in the upstairs hall closet. A large back balcony deck (first floor) with a gas grill (guest must clean after use), furniture and pyramid flame heater, overlooks the private yard and forest edge. Located in a quiet residential community, the spacious front yard is available for guest use. Parking for 2-3 vehicles is available off-street in front of the garage, as well as space for a boat, trailer or RV beside the house and across the road. Guest access Locked doors are not guest-accessible. No guest-access to basement, garage, or backyard. When in town, owner/host Ron, resides in the basement apartment with his doggo, Nelly, who has run of the backyard. Ron has a private entrance; does not access the rented area. There are no shared living spaces. Other things to note Front door entry combination is provided prior to check-in. Please sign our guest book in the Family Room. Priced for 4 guests.
