Rustic cabin in an orchard at Echo Valley Farm

Rustic cabin near Wildcat Mountain State Park and Kickapoo Valley Reserve. A quiet place to disconnect, hike, and enjoy the Driftless. The cabin has electricity, supplied water and a non chemical port-o-let, a heater, wood stove (we supply all indoor wood), fire pit and charcoal grill. Our Bakery is open Saturday-Sunday 9-4, May -October or order in advance off season. Short walk from parking to the cabin; we will transport your gear if needed. Enjoy our trails! LGBTQ owned. BIPOC welcome. The space The space has a double bed, electricity, water, lights, fan, indoor table, 2 chairs, books, wood stove and electric heater. A lovely porch with a sweet view, outdoor table and two chairs. Firepit and charcoal grill. Electric kettle, and coffee maker. Guest access You are welcome to hike our mowed trails. Other things to note Cell coverage may be limited. AT&T is best. Ontario is 3 miles away with wifi at the library, and bar with wifi. Viroqua is 45 minutes away. A wonderful authentic Mexican restaurant, Bailey's Diner, is 18 minutes away. Parking is limited, please make arrangements with the host if you will have more than one car. We are located in rural southwestern Wisconsin. Three miles from Wildcat Mountain State Park, seven miles from the Kickapoo Valley Reserve. The stars are brilliant at night, but the roads are dark, windy and often have slow moving Amish buggies and lots of deer. For your safety we ask that you arrive before dark. Sometimes your cell phone may cut out. Arrive early and enjoy the beauty of this area! Our campground license does not permit us to offer any cooking utensils, etc. Our well water is tested and we are happy to supply all that you need. We also supply Chippewa Springs drinking water. In winter we supply all the wood for the indoor stoves. If you want an outdoor fire, please bring your own wood. There is an electric heater as well. We are rustic, think glamping, and enjoy!
