Quiet Family Cottage in Boalsburg - Whole House

Located between State College and Boalsburg in a quiet secluded setting, this home is the perfect place to relax, yet is only minutes from everything the area has to offer. The cottage has a brand new bathroom, multiple decks, a master bedroom with attached sun room, and large windows looking onto mature landscaping. Perfect for small families or couples, this cottage is warm and welcoming. This is a strict NO SMOKING and NO PARTYING home. The space Located between State College and Boalsburg, our cottage is nestled in a wooded setting in a small neighborhood. You can go "downtown" for all of the PSU cultural and sporting events or spend a quieter morning in Boalsburg, walking along the stream at the nearby PA Military Museum and grabbing a breakfast and coffee at the the Pump Station Cafe. The cottage is family friendly with an open kitchen and dining area, a deck for relaxing, and plenty of space for outdoor play. Numerous windows and sliding glass doors throughout the cottage let in natural light and allow guests to enjoy the view. The cottage has beautiful hardwood flooring throughout the home. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, Bosch stove and dishwasher, microwave, and plenty of counter space for cooking. The living room is the perfect place to relax in peace and quiet, with comfortable seating and a view of the woodland setting. There is also a separate television room with large sectional sofa. The main deck is accessed directly via the television room or through a side gate near the kitchen. Enjoy dining under the trees in peace and quiet. Once inside the house, the living areas are all on one level (washer and dryer are located in the basement). Please note that there are two steps outside the front door into the entry way and then one step from the mudroom into the house. There is also a step between the master bedroom and sun room (see photos for details). The home sleeps four, with one king bed and one queen bed. Linens are provided. There is a portable crib in the cottage, but guests should bring their own crib bedding. There is also a booster seat, toys, children’s books and family games. This is a strict NO PARTYING home and both the grounds and property are NO SMOKING. Guest pets are NOT permitted, however, the owners do have a dog which stays in the cottage occasionally. ***PLEASE NOTE: We must be informed if the person listed on the Airbnb account will not be staying in the home and will be placing the reservation for a third party. The person who places the reservation with the Airbnb account is responsible for actions of all guests and for making sure that guests are aware of all rules BEFORE staying at the cottage. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house, except the garage. A washer and dryer are available for guest use and are located in the basement. Other things to note The garage is NOT for guest use. For guests with pet allergies, please note that the owners of the house do have a dog which stays in the cottage occasionally. Guest pets are NOT allowed. Per AirBNB User Agreement: If you want an early check-in or late check-out, you may incur a fee up to the cost of the next night's stay; this will be clearly communicated to you prior to setting up the check in/out change. This payment will be payable through AirBnB's system. No off-AirBnB payments will be accepted for your reservation placed on AirBnB.
