The space The apartment is known as "Arcade House" and is located at the upper floor of the Victorian-era building (known as the “Whitehead Building”) built in 1892 as a hotel or boardinghouse for miners. The building is historically significant – under the National Register of Historic Places – because it is a tangible link to the Town of Breckenridge’s early days as an important mining community during the late 1800s and early 1900s. Guest access The entire apartment is yours to enjoy, including outdoor lockers for your skis, snowboards, and other sporting equipment. An outdoor BBQ grill is also provided. Other things to note This unique apartment is among the best and most immersive ways to enjoy the sights, sounds, and retail offerings of the Breckenridge historic district, with convenient access to the gondola and the slopes. The apartment is generally quiet, but it is in the center of the town and the sounds of Main Street and the bar downstairs are sometimes audible from the master bedroom overlooking Main. If you consider yourself hyper-sensitive to sound you may want to message us to discuss before booking. We also provide a noise cancelling machine and ear plugs just in case they are needed.
