Waking up in tranquil Tofo Beach is something amazing to experience. Casa Surf Lodge, Tofo is situated close to the beach and offers the perfect getaway for all friends and families. Here you can relax at and explore the beautiful beaches, cool off under the outside shower, take a nap in the hammocks or visit the nearby local market. Tofo Beach offers world-class diving, fishing, kite-surfing and surfing experiences. Enjoy our sandpit braai/fire area in your own private "beach" in our garden. The space Casa Surf Lodge, Tofo is a 4 bedroom thatched house situated just a short 250m walk from the pristine beaches of Tofo and Tofinho. There are 2 en-suite bedrooms with aircon downstairs. Both bathrooms have a shower, basin and toilet. There are 2 bedrooms with aircon upstairs. These rooms have a bathroom allocated to each room on the ground floor. These bathrooms are outdoor, undercover bathrooms with a shower, basin and toilet. All rooms are equipped with two fans each. Casa Surf Lodge, Tofo has a fully equipped lapa-style kitchen which has a beautiful 12 seater wooden dining table and hammocks, where most gatherings seem to take place after a long day. After an outing at the beach, be sure to enjoy a nice outdoor shower to cool and rinse off. The lapa area is the ultimate place to chill on our couches and hanging egg chair. This area can additionally be used as extra sleeping space which can be set up upon request (just ask Jackie to assist). During the beautiful evenings, make sure to enjoy our sand pit braai area around a nice fire with a cold beverage. At the bottom of our concrete driveway, you can find a mini quarter-pipe skateboarding ramp to use at your own free will. Guest access The best way of getting around Tofo Beach is to walk. The beach access is 250m from the house. The market area, restaurants and bars are 400m from the house. Depending on what vehicle is being used (if any), driving around may be tricky as only the main road coming into Tofo Beach is paved and the surrounding roads are all sand roads. Parking at Casa Surf Lodge, Tofo is readily available and there is space for 3 cars in the driveway and 1 car off-street parking outside the property. Parking at the main beach/market area may be a bit congested during the busy seasons, making walking the more convenient way of getting around. Other things to note There is a gentleman named Jackie who works full-time at Casa Surf Lodge, Tofo. He is your go-to man for everything that you may be unsure of. He cleans the rooms and the rest of Casa Surf Lodge, Tofo everyday, does any dishes and can do washing. Jackie has a bakkie which he uses to assist with lifts to and from the airport. Please feel free to ask Jackie to go to the market for any fresh Portuguese rolls and breads, fruit and vegetables and seafood. PLEASE feel free to tip Jackie at your own discretion at the end of your stay. Without Jackie's input, Casa Surf Lodge, Tofo would not be running the way it does. The water at Casa Surf Lodge, Tofo comes from the borehole in the garden. This water is fine to use to shower and do dishes. This water is not drinkable due to the borehole being so close to the ocean. You can buy purified 5 litre water bottles from the local markets and shops. ***PLEASE NOTE*** Liability for injury clause: Owner shall not be liable for any loss, injury, death, or damage to persons or property which at any time may be suffered or sustained by the renter or by any person who may at any time be using or occupying or visiting Casa Surf Lodge Tofo or be in, on or about the same whether such loss, injury, death or damage shall be caused by or in any way result from or arise out or any act, omission or negligence of the renter or any occupant, visitor, or user of any portion of the property, or shall result from or be caused by any other matter of thing whether of the same kind as or of a different kind than the matters of things above set forth, and the renter shall indemnify the owner/s against all claims, liability, loss or damage whatsoever on account of any such loss, injury, death or damage.
