The incredible Guardian Angels Catholic Church is one block away and can be viewed easily from the property. The neighborhood is safe and beautiful and easily accessible to downtown Manistee which is only four blocks away and where the Riverwalk starts. Restaurants, museums, the old Ramsdell Opera House, and many many more attractions are all in walking distance.Beaches in walking distance Parking is easy and free. The Manistee Trolley Stop is just outside The Abigail Manor. Many options are available for the guest. Walking is aways a great option as the guest is close to downtown, the beach, and some wonderful historic sites as well as local restaurants. The guest will never run out of wonderful things to do. Our fully man-ed Historic Fire Department is the only one left in the country. A free tour is available and all you have to do is show up. The museum in the old Apothecary on River St (main street) will fascinate anyone interested in some amazing history of Manistee when it was a wealthy lumbering town.
