Casa dos Vinhais Douro Valley is a century-old house with unique and original spaces and magnificent views over the River Douro. Located in Senhora da Ribeira, on the north bank of the Douro River (15 meters away), it has stunning views over the river and the mountains. An ideal place to relax, go boating or kayaking (additional cost). Hiking, 4x4 tours, wine tasting and dining are just some of the experiences you can enjoy. Rooms The rooms reflect the experience of a traditional Douro house, decorated with charm and elegance: - Bedroom 1 - Double Bed - Bedroom 2 - Double Bed - Bedroom 3 - Double Bed There is the possibility of adding an extra double bed (extra interior room). Bathrooms The house has 2 full bathrooms with carefully selected toiletries at your disposal - shampoo/shower gel and soaps. Kitchen/dining room The kitchen is equipped with a hob, oven, fridge, microwave, nespresso coffee machine, toaster, TV and all the crockery and utensils needed for cooking. The dining table seats up to 8 people. The space has direct access to the terrace with river views, where there is an outdoor dining area and relaxing chairs. Living Room The house has two living rooms (one on the lower floor and one on the upper floor), eclectically decorated, with comfortable sofas but respecting the history of the house. The main living room functioned as a local tavern in the last century and retains much of the original furniture, not least a century-old bar counter that takes you back in time. Other things to note The house is fully booked (3 rooms) and a rich breakfast is prepared daily by the staff. The host is available for wine tastings and wine dinners (when requested in advance).
