Kettula is a renovated lakeside property on the shores of Oksjärvi, about 55 minutes from Helsinki. This spacious cottage sits on a large lawn with a private sandy beach, pier, and a terrace with a 9-person jacuzzi. Indoors, you’ll find three comfortable bedrooms, a bright living area with a fireplace, and a kitchen with modern appliances. A separate sauna building with panoramic lake views adds a special touch. Local cafes, walking trails, and small museums are within easy reach. The space Kettula combines traditional Finnish cottage charm with updated comforts across a generous plot overlooking Lake Oksjärvi. The main house has three bedrooms with quality linens and calming views of the garden. Guests have access to a SUP board, rowing boat, bikes, fishing gear, and yard games. An edible garden provides seasonal treats including berries and asparagus. Nearby, you’ll find the unique Kasvihuoneilmiö café and shop (5.5 km), the Lahnajärvi farm shop and sandy beach (7.7 km), and Sale grocery stores in Nummi and Suomusjärvi, about 10 km away. The surrounding forests and lakes are ideal for hiking, ice fishing, and quiet exploration in every season. The cottage has fast Wi-Fi, underfloor heating, air-heat pumps, and a washing machine.
