hi, if you are lookng for a cottage away from mordan city life style, perhaps this is a perfect place to stay and explore the nature. if you are lookng for a luxury hotel with full service, we wouldn't recommend this place at all. in winter there are 2 options to clime up to our cabin from parking lot. 1. by walk in deep snow. - 25 mins. with snow shoes or long boots. 2. by snow car. - 5 mins. only available 9:00 - 16:45, free for 2 times per day. if you miss operation hours, see no.1. all items in our cottage are unique and well chosen, once to enter, you will see!! dogs are okay but only well trained dogs (toilet and others...) (1,980JPY per night, per dog) there are 1st, 2nd (entrance way, living room), and 3rd floors in this cabin. we are very peaceful, friendly, and love to help our guests, since this place is not like mordan hotels, we need to explain few things when you check in. then later you can call us any time if you have difficulty. there will be wild deers, monkeys, boars, rabbits and if you lucky you may bump into bears. you don't hardly see people here. in winter, you could ski , snowboard, and sledding in our cabin area, no ski lefts but all courses are yours!! from parking lot at the bottom, 5 mins walk to the bus stop. then 45 mins. to Echigo Yuzawa station. then 90 mins. to Tokyo station by bullet train. please consider before book this place, in winter (Dec to April) there are 2 options to clime up to our cabin from parking lot.
