"Hazel's Suite" is decorated with 30's-40's era bedroom set that belonged to Hazel's sister. There is a comfortable, firm, queen size bed, a TV in the room, room darkening shades and many other amenities. The room has a bathroom ensuite, shower only. There is also a mini "closet-kitchen," complete with full sized refrigerator and Mini Keurig with coffee provided. We occasionally use the full size refrigerator for "extras," but there will be plenty of space for YOUR needs... Or we will MAKE it! :-) If there are one to six additional travelers in your group, we have the ideal accommodations. Book two or three of the listings and make yourself at home. If you request Hazel’s Suite, accommodations will be for two guests only. (If you require two queen beds, simply book both Hazel's Suite and Serenity Stay). Either town, Fairmont or Morgantown, can be accessed in 15 minutes and this is perfect lodging for Mountaineer and Falcon football and basketball fans as well as Black Bear fans. Restaurants can be accessed in either of these two cities. Hazel's Suite has nearly all you need...with refrigerator, and Keurig, but you are most welcome to come out of your room and enjoy the house, deck and grounds. However, please do not venture to the lower level which is a private apartment, or the loft area unless you have booked that area. This is a safe and secure rural setting and there are few neighbors within sight. Don't be surprised to see neighboring deer and wild turkey from the kitchen windows. ...................….......................................................................... If you are a group of 4 or 7 attending a WVU game, these quarters (review the three listings in our home) would be ideal. You can escape the downtown congestion and traffic and will be close to I-79 when you are ready to head on home. It's just 15 minutes to Morgantown using either the Interstate or the secondary roads. We can advise the best route to navigate on game day! While we love Mountaineer Fans and will be taking in the games ourselves (usually from the comfort of our sofa,) we welcome Big 12 opponents and will treat you kindly! You definitely need your own transportation. If you need a ride from and to the airport for a simple one evening stay, we may be able to arrange that for a flat $40 cash fee. Traveling nurses find this convenient to Monongalia General and WVU Ruby Hospitals in Morgantown as well as United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. Room Darkening shades and secluded area of the house allow for peaceful daytime sleep for those on night shift. CAT: We also have an "indoor/mostly outdoor" cat that wanders our home...EXCEPT FOR "Hazel's Suite" and "Serenity Stay" Room. We keep those rooms cat free zones. We can attempt to keep Molly outdoors while you are visiting if there are allergy concerns, especially if there is a guest staying in the loft area. Please let us know. OFF THE BEATEN PATH: While we are just about 2.5 miles from the I-79 interchange, the last half mile is lovingly called "bumpy," so you can consider it an authentic WV experience. INTERNET: Our Wi-Fi Internet is provided by the local phone service, and admittedly, is slow and intermittent. Please let us know if you can not access it and we will reset the modem. That usually fixes the problem. In the meantime, we DO get reasonable service from our cell service provider AT&T, and often access the internet through our phones.
