The Watermill

Welcome to the Watermill. Stay at this amazing centuries-old completely restored watermill.The building was adapted to our modern days, while keeping typical elements that make it unique. Perfect base to visit central Portugal and for some well deserved rest - you certainly won't forget this incredible stay. The space The house is 60 square meter big. It has an open space with kitchen, living room and working area, one bedroom and one bathroom. Theres a spacious garden you can enjoy, and there's one designated parking place. There's a Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine, dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave and fridge. Should you need to do your landry, next to the house there's a washing machine you can access. There's 1 split Air-Conditioner unit that works for heating and cooling. Outside in a garden shed there's a barbecue set. Feel free to use it but bring your coal. There's a wood stove in the living room, which you can use to heat up the room. We provide fire wood in the colder months - check with us before coming. There's one foldable baby crib that can be placed in the house if you're traveling with a baby -let us know you'll need it before arriving. The house is conveniently located 800 away from the quaint town of Porto de Mós, neighbouring my parents' orchard. From here, you can easily visit the Natural Park of Serra d'Aire e Candeeiros, the mighty atlantic coast, best know by the gigantic waves of Nazare, and a lot of beautiful historical places, like Batalha, Alcobaça and Tomar. Guest access Guests will be able to use exclusively the entirety of the house and the front garden. Please take into consideration that the front garden - even though is exclusively for your use - doesn't offer full privacy since it's contiguous to the neighboring property yard. Shared parking. Other things to note Beware that the watercourse that runs under the house can be accessed from the garden. Please pay attention to it to avoid possible accidents. Pets are allowed as long as owners take responsibilities for any eventual damaged by it. Guest must inform ahead regarding the stay of the pet and pay 10 Euros in cash upon arrival per pet regardless of the length of the stay. Registration Details 96041/AL
