This beautiful home is nestled in a peaceful Glendale neighborhood next to the MKE River, yet it is only a 13 minute drive to downtown Milwaukee. The large yard is relaxing and full of trees, and has a rainbow play set. It is the perfect stay for a up to 7 adults or families of up to 9 including kids. The home is 83 years old and full of charm, but that also means that there are creaky floors, and some outdated features. Many updates have been made. This is our primary residence for us and our Enjoy the entire home and property to yourself - the yard is almost an acre and includes a rainbow play and swing set. The living room, dining room, sun room, kitchen, dinette, 2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, finished basement and laundry room are all for your use. Guests are welcome in all indoor and outdoor spaces - which includes the living room, dining room, sun room, kitchen, dinette, 2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, finished basement and laundry room. The front and back yard with the rainbow play set. The only exceptions are the garage, barn and the mechanical room. The garage can be requested at an additional charge. You are welcome to do a contactless check in - your key will be in a lockbox and the rules and helpful info will be in a binder inside. If you prefer we are sometimes available to meet you in person to get you checked in. We are always able to answer questions via text or phone call before and during your stay. Less than a mile from several grocery stores, and plenty of shopping and restaurants at Bayshore mall. 12 minutes from downtown Milwaukee. Located 12 minutes north of downtown Milwaukee. There is plenty of parking in the spacious drive way (room for up to 7 cars) and the attached garage can fit another two cars. Driving is best, but it is close enough to downtown that taxi/Uber isn’t too expensive, and the bus route is near. The basement was recently finished and contains a large sofa with an additional TV. There is also bonus room in the basement that has a queen size pull out bed.
