A one-acre oasis in the historic downtown bathhouse district, steps from everything. Mountain views, two artist-designed porches, and a tree-shaded acre invite you to unplug completely. Your host wrote the award-winning book The Good Life Lab about this very property. The space Our property hosts two sets of guests max, with lots of room to relax. We curate a quiet, retreat-like setting that attracts creatives, contemplatives, and nature lovers. It’s a perfect romantic getaway and a restorative, healing atmosphere. Guests enjoy our large, open-air, natural 108-degree hot spring in a private fenced area with stunning mountain views. Bus guests have the hot spring and tub all to themselves on all odd hours (7, 9, 11, 1, 3… etc.) day and night. Our other guests use these amenities on the even hours. Our shady, tree-filled acre has multiple furnished outdoor hangout spaces with WiFi — perfect for lingering with a book or a glass of wine. About the Bus… This is no ordinary bus. A top-of-the-line private coach fully remodeled into a sleek modern home — think Lady Gaga’s tour bus. Yes, it really is that fancy. Every window offers light-filtering or full blackout pull-downs plus tinted glass, so you sleep as late as you like. Bedroom: A deeply comfortable Tempur-Pedic memory foam queen — you may not want to leave. Living Room: Generous leather sectional perfect for sprawling out after a long soak. Kitchen: Dishwasher, sink, microwave, toaster, kettle, and single-burner induction stovetop. Dishes, cups, mugs, pots, pans, utensils — everything you need to cook or heat up leftovers. Climate: Two independent thermostats — bedroom and living room — so you’re always the perfect temperature. Amenities Rock-solid high-speed WiFi throughout. Intentionally screen-free — bring a book, a journal, or just yourself. Fruit trees, shade, and generous space to spread out. A casual, laid-back natural environment designed for exhaling. Two shady decks, a fire pit (usable when there’s no wind or fire ban), and fruit-bearing trees and vegetation. No BBQ. Pet-allergen and chemical-free. Organic wool interior rugs. Cleaned with natural products and scent-free detergent. Guest access NATURAL 108-DEGREE HOT SPRING — OUTDOOR Soak in our 8-foot diameter, naturally 108-degree outdoor hot spring in a spacious, private fenced area with views of Turtleback Mountain, star-studded night skies, and glorious sunrises. While the hot spring is shared with other guests and your host, each guest enjoys complete privacy during their soak. Bus guests have the hot spring all to themselves on all odd hours day and night (7am, 9am, 11am, 1pm, etc.). Our other guests have the even hours. OUTDOOR SPACE: Two covered porches, lit in the evenings with WiFi. FIRE PIT: A tree-encircled fire pit with flagstone patio, available to guests. Wood: $25 per bundle (approx. 20 pieces). Fires must be kept small. PARKING: Every guest has their own dedicated off-street parking space. Other things to note Before you book, please know this is an adult-only, quiet, retreat-like environment — not suitable for children or pets. All guests must be listed in the booking and registered in the Airbnb app. There is a $150 fee per unregistered guest. By booking you agree to the House Rules, which include: a maximum of 2 registered adult guests, no additional visitors on the property, and adherence to the hot spring schedule (Dome guests on even hours, Bus guests on odd hours) so every guest gets the private soak time they’re expecting. Because we respect our next arriving guests, we ask that any request for early check-in or late check-out be made at least 48 hours in advance — this gives our cleaning service the best chance to accommodate you. Guests who have not checked out by 11am are charged $50, plus $100 per hour starting at noon until checkout is complete. There is a $300 fee for bringing a pet or child onto the property.
