You can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view over Volkach, with views of Hallburg and Vogelsburg. The house is located in the immediate vicinity of the vineyards and thus offers a nice starting point for walks. The city center is within walking distance. You will be staying just outside the historic town of Volkach am Main. The apartment is a good starting point for a wide range of leisure activities: cycling, tennis, fishing, hiking, paddling, boating on the Main and playing golf at several courses in the surrounding area. The cycling and hiking trails are well-signposted. The local wines can be tasted in friendly restaurants, wine bars, "Besenwirtschaften," vinotheks and winegrowers' cooperatives. Franconian asparagus goes well with the wines. In summer you can visit very nice wine festivals. Culture lovers will definitely find the right offerings in Volkach, Würzburg, Schweinfurt, Bad Kissingen, Rothenburg ob der Tauber and Bamberg. You shouldn't get bored here.
