Built in the 50's, located in a quiet neighborhood next to Springer's Nature Preserve, we kept the homey cozy granny decor. There is a generous screened porch for entertaining and dining. The large yard is surrounded by woods and provides direct access to the Springer's Point trail. The trail is a lovely path to the waterfront on the sound-side of the island, and home to impressive live oak trees, a historic graveyard, and the site of Blackbeard the Pirate's final battle! The space Sweet cozy 3-bedroom house with a big yard ( almost an acre- rare on Ocracoke any more) and a lovely screened in porch in a very quiet neighborhood. Next door is Springer's Point Nature Preserve on the Pamlico Sound. There is a guest house on the property, which is sometimes occupied by the owner. Guest access Guest will be able to access the entire house and grounds ( excluding the guest cottage, which is a private residence) Other things to note CHECK-IN from the end of May through the 3rd week of August is SUNDAY TO SUNDAY only. There is another small 2-room cottage on the property that will be occupied by the owner.
