Cottage in Michigan City

Located on Lake Shore drive directly across from the beach, and perched atop a sand dune offering amazing views of Lake Michigan, and even the Chicago skyline on clear days. Across the street from two beach stops, from outside you can get to the beach using either the front stair case or using the sloped driveway and street to the beach for a no stairs route. From the screened in covered front porch relax to the soothing sounds of the nature, waves and sights of boats gliding. The space 1st floor bedroom features queen size bed, upstairs there are two bedrooms both with king size beds. The front porch has two futons that convert from either a bed, to chaise lounge, to couch. The screened in porch is not have heat or ac but does have storm windows and frequently gets seasonal lake breezes. Guest access Entire house, beach shed. No access to detached garage or owners private area in basement. Other things to note Over 120 year old home stair case going to upstairs is narrow and does not have a railing please see photos. The stairs in the front going to street do not have railing but the beach is also accessible via the back inclined driveway and street.
