Welcome to The Greenhouse! A renovated Victorian built in 1895 is your home to enjoy. We’ve prepared a home that we’d be happy to stay! Its fresh & funky! We respond to all inquiries within the hour. Please read this whole description before booking. Thank you! The Greenhouse is a 1200 sq ft house all for your use! A fully refurbished historic home on the outskirts of downtown. Our street is quiet and safe. We recently completed installing new flooring, paint, and fresh decor in most of the home. My husband Trever and I love to find cool, old things and design homes. It’s been so much fun to make The Greenhouse a fresh, clean space with a vintage spirit for our guests. There are 2 covered porches with seating. The back porch has a chaise lounge, table large enough to seat 6-8 and cafe lights for evening. The living room is spacious with 10 foot ceilings, ceiling fan, antique area rugs, & lots of seating. There is a 48” Smart TV. We don’t have cable....or a landline. But we do have WiFi. It’s not very old fashioned but who can live without it anymore? You can expect cozy and clean bedroom spaces with ceiling fans, blinds & curtains, a closet & dresser for your clothing. Bedroom 1 in the front has great morning sun, high ceilings, a full size bed, a twin loft bed, and a vanity table with mirror & chair. Bedroom 2 has a north facing window, high ceilings, a twin bed under a twin loft bed. Along with 2 dressers. There is a full bathroom in between these rooms. It has all the essentials and a gigantic bathtub great for little ones to soak in after a day at the lake. Fresh white towels are provided for each guest. The master bedroom with en suite bath is in the rear of the house, set away from the front rooms and living space. It has 8’ ceilings & a COMFY queen size bed. A vanity table with mirror is helpful for applying makeup or using as a desk if needed. The master bath is really small, but it has a deep soaking tub and I can promise it has one of THE BEST simple shower heads. Each bathroom has liquid hand soap, shower soap, shampoo, conditioner and hair dryer. The Kitchen has 10 foot ceilings, and a long narrow table. It’s complete with dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, baking pans, and a myriad of small appliances. There is all purpose flour, granulated sugar & basic spices in kitchen. There’s some dry oats, raisins, brown sugar and hot cocoa mix for making a simple breakfast. Ground coffee, selection of tea bags & an assortment of sweeteners. Coffee maker, electric water kettle & standard tea kettle WE PROVIDE COMPLEMENTARY COFFEE & TEA BAGS...... Because no one should have to go without!!! Also: Blender & toaster Magic bullet Crock pot, juicer Rice cooker & waffle maker. lastly, there's a water filter with a dispenser inside the refrigerator! Washer dryer use & supplies included for our guests staying 2 nights or more (If you have a special need, just ask!) Iron & ironing board available Colored towels for outdoor lake use Outdoor blanket provided Previous guests have left sunscreen and bug repellent. Feel free to use it!
