White Oak Room - White Oak Manor

The White Oak Manor is a 1920’s home built by the first county extension agent in the Greek revival style that was so popular during the turn of the century. We are located in the Historic District of Jefferson, the Bed & Breakfast Capital of Texas. Come take a step back in time when life was not so fast-paced and hectic. We invite you to come enjoy our signature “warm and friendly” atmosphere. Relax and “sit a spell” on our front porch and relish the peace and quiet where you’ll most likely see a family of squirrels jumping in the tree tops or the bright red cardinals flying about. The space The White Oak is located on the second floor at the front of the house with a bird’s eye view of the pretty new tree in the front yard. The sitting area is home to large, comfortable chairs: pick up your favorite book and get lost in the story. At day’s end, unwind by slipping into the claw-foot tub for a relaxing bubble bath. Then climb into the cozy queen-size bed to watch a romantic movie or just fall asleep in each other’s arms. Special features of the White Oak include a claw-foot tub with a stand-up shower, a sitting area, and an armoire and dresser.
