Designed for total privacy and tranquility, it’s the perfect place to unplug, slow down, and reconnect with nature. Spend your days canoeing or simply soaking in the peaceful views. As night falls, gather around the bonfire to roast marshmallows, unwind in your private sauna, and enjoy breathtaking stargazing far from city lights. The space The Treehouse This cozy ~130 sq ft off-grid treehouse offers both indoor and outdoor seating and dining areas, thoughtfully designed to maximize comfort while embracing nature. The structure is elevated on solid timber posts, securely anchored into authentic Muskoka bedrock—giving you a true “perched in the trees” experience. Guests enjoy access to a wood-burning stove (perfect day or night), a sauna, canoeing on the pond, a bonfire area, incredible stargazing, and frequent wildlife sightings. It’s an ideal setting for slowing down, unplugging, and immersing yourself in the forest. ⸻ Important Off-Grid Details (Please Read) This is a true off-grid experience, designed for guests who appreciate simplicity and adventure: • No running water or showers • Cold plunge available via a rainwater collection system May 15 - November 15 • Outhouse with a composting toilet • Guests must bring their own: – Bed linens (double size mattress) – Cutlery, plates, cups, and cooking utensils Guest access Guests have access to the treehouse, their own private outhouse, bbq, gazebo, outdoor fire pit, cold plunge, cedar wood burning sauna and a communal wifi office with desk & chairs. Other things to note Off-Grid & Plumbing Details (Please Read Before Booking) The treehouse is fully off-grid and does not have running water. • There is no indoor plumbing or traditional shower. • Guests may rinse off using the cold plunge, supplied by a rainwater collection system. • During summer months, public showers are available in Rosseau. The outhouse is a composting toilet, meaning it does not flush. Guests unfamiliar with outhouses are strongly encouraged to research what a composting toilet is prior to booking to ensure this experience is a good fit.
