Hürbel Castle is a 500-year-old castle, still very authentic today, with unique wallpapers dating back to 1785. It has been completely restored. We offer three exclusive suites (Napoleon, Stork, and Rose Garden), available individually or in combination. Here, you'll experience the experience of a museum-like stay within ancient walls with modern, high-quality interiors. For more guests (e.g., for dancing), an event hall for 45 people can be booked. The space The extraordinary, romantic Stork's Nest Apartment (a place to fall in love with :)) accommodates up to four people. You'll sleep in a beautiful king-size bed, and two additional guests can make themselves comfortable on a very high-quality double sofa bed (90x200). The ceiling is decorated with fine floral stucco, and the historic floor from 1908 is covered with pitch pine planks. With us, you'll experience a perfect blend of historic castle atmosphere and all modern amenities for a comfortable and relaxing holiday in a living monument. Right next to the apartment there is a large balcony where breakfast is a very special experience. The apartment gets its name from the fact that a pair of storks has been maintaining a nest directly above it for the past eight years, raising their young every year. From here, you can watch mesmerizing sunsets. The charming Hürbel Castle is located in the small village of Gutenzell-Hürbel between the Allgäu region and Lake Constance. Hürbel Castle originally dates back to the 16th century and has been completely restored inside; the exterior work is nearing completion. The castle boasts all the amenities you'd expect from a modern building. It became famous beyond the borders of Baden-Württemberg for its unique French wallpapers from 1785. This Baroque gem, dating back to 1521, opens its doors and warmly welcomes its guests.
