Above the roofs of Triberg, in a quiet secluded location in the middle of the Black Forest, lies our extraordinary loft in the former threshing floor of a more than 250-year-old Black Forest farm - with a wide panoramic view of the valley and the mountains. On 120 m², historic beams, high ceilings and lots of light combine with modern design, a high-quality kitchen and a large living room with a fireplace - a special place to work, cook, read or relax surrounded by forest and meadows. The historic 18th-century house has been carefully renovated and modernized in recent decades, preserving the charm of the original Black Forest house. In 2020, we converted the former barn under the new roof into a spacious loft with about 120 m². Visible 18th century roof beams, high ceilings and beautiful oak planks create a special sense of space. In addition, there is a modern custom-made kitchen with induction stove, a nice bathroom and a large living room with fireplace. The apartment sleeps up to six people: in the bedroom there is a double bed and a bunk bed, in the large living room there is another double bed. The loft is particularly suitable for guests who want to spend time together: for workation with fast internet, for nature vacations with friends or for families who want to discover the Black Forest. Hiking trails through forests and meadows, including the Black Forest Railway Adventure Trail, start directly from the house. In the area, excursions to the Triberg Waterfalls, the Vogtsbauernhof Open Air Museum or the natural swimming lake in the neighboring village are worthwhile. In winter, there are opportunities for skiing and cross-country skiing in the region, and Lake Titisee with its swimming and spa area is also easily accessible. Our farm is also home to Icelandic horses, dogs and cats – curious guests are welcome to get to know them. For those who want to combine vacation and work, Lasse is ideal: two separate, fully equipped workstations with fiber-optic Wi-Fi, lamps, plenty of power outlets, and a monitor offer ideal conditions – one of them with a stunning panoramic view. In an absolutely quiet, secluded location at the end of a dead-end road, you can focus on your work and then switch off immediately afterward: by hiking right from the farm, with our Icelandic horses, dogs, and cats, or by taking trips to waterfalls, swimming lakes, the Vogtsbauernhof farm, or the Hexenlochmühle mill.
