Rustic backwoods cabin on a pond

Quiet mountain retreat, nestled high in the hills overlooking Redwood Valley on one side and a meadow and pond on the other. Swim and raft on the pond or just watch the fish. Meditate at Abhayagiri Monastery, enjoy the wildlife on 116 wooded acres, hike the headwaters of the Russian River, or just relax in front of the Franklyn fireplace (the heat for the cabin). The space The cabin has a large redwood paneled living room with a Franklyn fireplace (the heat for the cabin) and a dining area with a view down the valley. The cabin sleeps 4 (or more with futons). It has a small bedroom with double bed and a bed in the living room that can be pulled out to make 2 twin beds or 1 king-size bed. It has a full kitchen and bathroom. It’s a rustic country cabin. Not a prim B&B, but I like it a lot. It has a deck on the east side looking across the valley. The deck is shaded by big oaks in the summer and the leaves fall off to let in the sun in winter. Guest access There is a parking area that can accommodate about 4 cars. Other things to note It is private with no other houses in view. There is no wi-fi or TV. The fireplace is the only heat other than the electric heater and electric towel warmer in the bathroom. It has AC for the summer. The door to the bedroom has a curtain, not a door. The bedroom has visual privacy from the rest of the house. Cell service is spotty at best. AT&T is by far the best with some data available. Verizon and U.S. Cellular can make and receive calls at the kitchen table and some other places but don't count one any of them.
