Casa Stanley Cabin - Stanley’s First Cabin

Log Cabin on the site of Stanley’s First Cabin. Located on Valley Creek with Sawtooth Views. Ideal for families. Cabin is set back from Highway 21 and sits on nearly an acre making it a complete getaway. Fish from the yard and enjoy quiet evenings by the fire pit. Stanley is in the Central Idaho Dark Sky Reserve and the night sky view is spectacular from the creek side. Short walk into downtown Stanley to enjoy shopping, bars and restaurants but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. The space Log cabin on nearly an acre just 2 blocks from all the amenities downtown Stanley has to offer. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms on the main floor. Bedroom 1 faces the mountains and has an en-suite full bathroom and a King sized bed. Bedroom 2 faces Valley Creek and has a Queen bed. A bathroom with a shower is adjacent. Upstairs is the large sleeping loft (called bedroom 3 because Airbnb is pretty limited in their description of spaces) also has a family room (with a tv/dvd player and hdmi cable) and an desk/office area. There are two twin beds, a King bed and a sectional couch with a sofa bed and a full sized bunk bed (full on top and full on bottom). We have a large front yard with a fire pit, picnic tables, hammock and covered porch all with Sawtooth Mountain views. The back deck has a patio table and umbrella (umbrella is stored in the closet of the primary bedroom). There is a grill for guest use and great access to Valley Creek and the Valley Creek Preserve. You can fish from the backyard if you are so inclined. Basketball goal is located in the paved area in the front, an exterior and interior cabinet full of games. Loads of inside and outside games. The cabin has a total of 7 beds and one sofa bed: Two King Beds Two Twin Beds One Queen Bed One Bunkbed (full sized on top and on bottom) One sectional couch with a sofa bed The heavy stuff: I wish I didn’t have to add this but I do…do not ask me if you can camp (including tents and/or RV’s) or hold large events/family reunions at our cabin. Please do not exceed the allowed number of guests (10) for your comfort and for ours. We will cancel your reservation (even mid rental) if our house rules are violated and that’s no fun for anyone. There is a stand-alone unit above the garage with a separate entrance. Please leave the parking space closest to the staircase on the right side of the home for our tenant. If having another human occupant on the property isn’t acceptable to you please book elsewhere. Stanley’s elevation is 6260 feet and it can be warm by day and cold at night. There is heat (of course) but we do not have air conditioning in the cabin. There is a ceiling fan and an additional fans for your use. The temperature drops significantly as soon as the sun sets so it shouldn’t be an issue especially if you close the blinds and windows during the heat of the day. Guest access Entire cabin and grounds. Guests do not have access to the locked owners closet in the loft, the shed, garage or the studio apartment above the garage.
