Fern Cottage is a cosy 2-Bedroom cottage located in picturesque and peaceful village in Iden, East Sussex. Only a four minute drive from the centre of the historic port town of Rye and ten minutes from the sandy dunes of Camber Sands beach it is perfectly located. Enjoy memorable days out in castle country, vinyards or outstanding walks followed by a cosy night in front of the logburner. Magnificent walks, the best beaches in the UK and the magical charm of Rye are all right on our doorstep. The space At Fern Cottage you’ll find a weatherboarded comfortable space built in 1830. Two bedrooms- The Master with a KingSize bed and front aspect (but blackout blinds and a high quality mattress to ensure a deep night of sleep) and an arm chair overlooking the view for your morning coffee. Bedroom two is a full size twin, or on request the single beds are zip and link and can be joined to make up a SuperKing size bed. The bathroom is spacious and has separate bath and large shower cubicle for soaking away a busy day exploring castles! Our snug has a 50inch Smart TV and cosy Logburner so should feel like a home from home. In the kitchen at Fern Cottage you should have everything you need including a microwave, dishwasher and washing machine and with enough room to sit and dine (at the 18th Century dining set) you are all set. Our private sunny and completely private enclosed small garden is the perfect place to relax and has outdoor furniture for all fresco dining too. Help yourself from our herb garden while you sip a local wine and prep dinner, or try out some local award winning restaurants. Guest access Parking: The village of Iden is very quiet and the entire village has free and easy on street parking. The road directly outside the cottage is free and has plentiful parking or alternatively park in the nearest side turning if you prefer.
