Our home provides ample space for you to relax and unwind, both indoors and out. One of the many highlights of our property is the serene outdoor area located underneath the house. Complete with cozy hammocks, comfortable seating, a grill, and an outdoor table, this space is the perfect spot to spend quality time with loved ones in the fresh air. The area stays pleasantly cool, making it a fantastic place to kick back and soak up the beautiful surroundings. Additionally, there is an outdoor shower with a changing room, as well as a shed stocked with beach chairs, an umbrella, and even games such as cornhole! As you enter our fully-stocked kitchen on the first floor, you'll find all the supplies you need to prepare meals during your stay. The dining table seats 8, with an additional 3 seats at the counter. The large living area features a 65-inch TV with access to all your favorite streaming apps, as well as high-speed internet. We also have a dedicated work area to make your stay even more comfortable if you find you need to check some emails. Downstairs, there are two bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen bed. These rooms are connected by a newly updated Jack and Jill bathroom with a beautiful tiled shower. Additionally, there is a half bath on the first floor for convenience (no one will have to enter someone's bedroom to use the bathroom). The living room opens up to the porch, where you can enjoy the beautiful ocean breeze and comfortable seating. We have a wooden baby gate on the back porch to ensure your little ones stay safe. We also have a full-size washer and dryer in the unit for your use. Upstairs, you will find two more bedrooms connected by an updated Jack and Jill bathroom with a tub. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has 2 twin beds and a full-size bunk bed. The queen room offers a limited ocean view. Three of our bedrooms have ceiling fans (excluding the bunk room), and we also provide a box fan for guests who prefer extra air or white noise. We aim to provide a variety of beach chairs, with a goal of having at least 8 fully functioning chairs. If you find any chairs that are unusable or in need of replacement, please reach out to us, and we will cover the cost of new chairs for your use during your stay. The same holds true for our umbrella and wagon, both of which are available for your convenience. We hope you enjoy your stay at our home and make wonderful memories with your loved ones! Guest access You have access to 2 community pools (pools are a close walk, about 500 ft - pools usually open sometime in April and close at the end of October - although this doesn't happen often, we are not responsible if pools get shut down due to storms or needed repairs). We also have two community docks for fishing or launching a kayak (rentals are available). Both are extremely close to the house. There is also a small side yard space right next to the house if kids need to run around (note this is common space). The place is great for biking too and if you are hungry, you can always grab a bite to eat right across the street at Isles Restaurant or have a drink at the beautiful bar there! Other things to note NEW FOR 2025/2026 - Bed Linens will be provided for guests. There is a nominal charge added to the reservation for this, but we found guests prefer to have this vs. bringing their own. BLACKSTONE GRILL - We did purchase a new Blackstone grill for guests, we will provide a link to how to use this type of grill, it does require a little bit different use and cleaning than a traditional grill. ALLIGATORS and FOXES - OIB is well known for its many fox families that live on the island, please do not feed or approach foxes. Additionally, we are now sometimes getting alligators in the ponds that separate some of the homes in Island Park, thankfully, we do not butt up to one of those ponds, but you should be aware if walking in the community. WHAT WE PROVIDE: We try to have about 8 beach chairs at the beginning of the season, however, some may get broken over the season, so it is possible we will have less. We no longer guarantee a working umbrella, as they always break after few uses. We do offer our Shibumi Shade for rent. Shibumi Shade Rental: Now-a-days, if you look at the beach, especially during high season, a large portion of people have a Shibumi Shade. OIB has restrictions about the types of "Shade devices" one can use on the beach. For the most part, it is either a Shibumi or an umbrella. Since these cost almost $300.00 to purchase, we do offer a rental for guests at $12 per reservation night, the rental cost goes to ensuring that we can purchase a new one immediately for incoming guests should one break. NO PETS are allowed except for Service Dogs (not ESA's). If you have one small non-shedding dog over 2, and would like us to consider a special exception for off season rentals (outside Memorial Day to Labor Day), please inquire.
