The space The home is the upstairs unit of an upstairs/downstairs freestanding duplex with a front yard and private parking in the back. The place is COVID-19 free from the get-go, with a maid crew making sure to wipe down and sanitize every surface. You and your guests can rest assured that this place is a safe zone. Inside the apartment is a spacious living room with open floor plan kitchen and dining area. The leads directly to the outdoor lanai which views the canals. You can also access the lanai from the 2-bed bedroom. The sofa in the living room turns into a full size bed. A door between the hallway and the living room can be closed to add privacy to anyone sleeping in the living room. A hallway leads from the living room to the bedrooms and bathrooms. The first bedroom has a queen size bed, closet and bedside tables. The bedroom has its own door which can be closed for maximum privacy. After the first bedroom is a bathroom with walk-in shower and dual sinks. This bathroom can be accessed by both the living room and the first bedroom, so the bathroom can be shared without waking anyone up in either the living room or first or second bedroom. The second bedroom is at the end of the hall and has its own bathroom and access to the lanai. The second bedroom has two full sized beds and an extra large closet for sharing. The second bedroom has its own door which can be closed for maximum privacy from the living room and first bedroom traffic. The lanai "balcony" has a table with four chairs and additional space facing west over the historic Venice Canals. Guest access Guests will be able to use the driveway behind the house which has 2 tandem parking spaces off the street and without opening a gate. Roll your luggage down a path on the side of the house to the front yard and then up stairs on the side of the house to the second level. The door is opened by an electronic code which we will share with you when you after you make a reservation. There are no keys to exchange. You and your guests will be able to enter whenever they want during your stay. When you leave, simply close the door behind you. Other things to note There is no air conditioning in this unit. The east and west windows allow a refreshing ocean breeze to blow through and the temperatures cool off significantly at night in the Mediterranean LA climate.
