LEELANAU SUITE: Private 2-BR suite on 2nd floor of quaint guesthouse. One of 7 suites at historic Sunset Lodge. 2 bedrooms (1 king & 1 queen) each w/ en-suite bath. Sunny kitchen. Perfect for families & friend groups. In peaceful village of Omena in the heart of Leelanau. Wide lawn with beautiful lake view; pickleball court; patio. Short walk to village of Omena: waterfront restaurant, tasting room, public beach. Nearby beaches, trails, wineries; 20 mi. to Sleeping Bear Dunes & Traverse City. The space This suite is the 2nd floor of guesthouse built in 1895. One bedroom has king, the other has queen; each has private attached bath. West bedroom has pullout for child/additional guest. Wi-Fi; TV in each bedroom. Kitchen has refrigerator, microwave, cooktop, toaster-oven, coffee maker (supplied), electric water kettle; HD TV. Dining table & dishes, pots & pans. A/C and heat operated by remote control. Ceiling fans in both bedrooms & kitchen. High ceilings w/ many windows. Suite has private entrance, not used by other guests. There is another suite in this guesthouse "Bay View Suite" on 1st floor, which has separate exterior entrance. The front door & both bedroom doors have keypad locks coded uniquely for your stay. Housekeeper & owners use front door during daytime for access to 1st floor laundry room and do not enter your suite. If your group is larger, consider adding Bay View Suite to your booking - you would have both floors, which can accommodate up to 7 adults. Guest access Outdoor common areas include patio, deck, pickleball court and large lawn with Adirondack chairs. There are 2 firepits for guests' use. Other things to note Staircase is very narrow, might not be good for those with knee difficulties. Front door & bedroom doors have keypad locks for self-check-in. The front entry door is only for this suite, not used by other guests. Please note this door might be used by owners or housekeeper during daytime for laundry access, between the hours of 10am and 2pm. No in-room daily housekeeping during your stay. We provide extra towels and blankets upon check-in. Easy access to trash & recycling bins. Quiet Hours after 10 pm - refrain from loud conversations, loud TV/music.
