Cranehaven B & B offers upscale, gracious, eco-friendly lodging. The southwestern style home is decorated with many kinds of original art work, like Native American kachinas, handmade baskets and colorful weavings. Wander outside over 32 acres of private land with stunning views, or stay in to enjoy uninterrupted vistas through numerous large picture windows. Either way, Cranehaven B & B offers a unique experience, rich in Nature's beauty and peace - come see for yourself! The space Gated & fenced property offers solitude, serenity and safety. The primary guest room and guest bath are both on the main floor - no stairs to climb. The guest room is spacious with a queen-size bed, suitable for one or two guests. There is also an in-room refrigerator, microwave, and single-cup coffee maker. You can enjoy the beauty of color-drenched skies at sunset and starry dark night skies from the large west-facing window. Breakfasts are made-to-order with finest organic ingredients, whenever possible. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free breakfast selections are available. You can look over our excellent breakfast menu posted on the Cranehaven B & B website, make your choices and submit your breakfast selections ahead of time. We have three older dogs on site and cannot accept guest's pets. For the ultimate in vacation lodging, ask about our VIP Luxury Package which guarantees you will be the only guests during your stay, offers an expanded breakfast menu, and gives you free use of the 2-person Jacuzzi in the solarium. Additionally, we can schedule an on-site, private massage and/or reflexology session for you with local, licensed practitioners. We can also schedule day-long excursions to a local chili farm, or a small bee-keeping honey-producing organic farm or a visit to a local wine-producing facility (Black Smuggler Wines). You may also consider scheduling a deeply relaxing hypnotherapy session with Susanlily to heal old emotional wounds, release stress, create workable solutions to problems and bring about positive changes you want to happen. Guest access First floor of home is a shared area: living room, dining room, kitchen, study, solarium with 2-person Jacuzzi, (unless solarium and study are being used as rented bedrooms; if so, guest bathroom will be shared with other guests). VIP Luxury Package assures you and your traveling companion will be the only guests scheduled during your stay at Cranehaven B & B. Shared outdoor areas: 32 acres of private land to explore - cattail & water lily pond, several outdoor seating areas for relaxing or eating a meal, rose garden, solar fountain, small elm forest, fruit trees, and more. During your stay Rick & Susanlily are on-site to help with any of your needs. Converse with us as little, or as much, as you would like during your visit. We love meeting new people. Other things to note Cranehaven is just that, a haven for cranes. Each year in the winter season, hundreds of cranes flock to our property. We have a routine each morning to put out feed and water, and to watch the absolutely amazing arrival of our feathered friends. You can join in too to get a personalized experience you can't find anywhere else. Along with the cranes, our property is fabulous for birders during all times of the year!
