This home is a fully licensed Bed & Breakfast, hosted by Bettina. Secluded on acres of woods, meadows and nearby farms, our air-conditioned master bedroom suite and sunroom with trundle bed now sleeps an additional two! Complete with private en suite bath, you have spectacular views of gardens and a private three-acre pond that attracts many birds and other wildlife. Although completely surrounded by nature, Shelburne Village, Burlington, UVM and the airport are just a short ride away. The space The home operated for many years as the Willow Pond Bed & Breakfast. Zita Lee's daughter-in-law, Bettina Stark, has brought this popular retreat back to life. The queen-sized canopied bed is in a room with Cathedral ceilings. Your suite includes a private shower and bath, as well as sun room area with views in three directions. The winter garden has sliding glass doors which lead directly to the gardens to the east. Bird enthusiasts can use binoculars to view the surrounding wildlife. In the morning we serve a continental breakfast which includes a changing assortment of our own homemade granola and yoghurt, fresh breads, bagels, English Muffins, cereals, as well as seasonal fresh fruits, berries or grapefruits. Coffee, as well as a variety of teas and juices are naturally included, to be enjoyed in our dining area next to the breakfast bar or out on our deck. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies please let us know, we can also provide soy milk or fat-free dairy products. Guest access Please enjoy the extensive landscaping, ponds, romantic rose and perennial gardens that encircle this home, or linger in our living and dining area furnished with antiques and oriental rugs. Your very spacious suite allows you all the privacy you could want, you can close the door to your suite adjacent to our kitchen and retreat into your own private space, or feel free to reach out to us for local suggestions or any requests you have. During your stay I travel a lot but am very accessible, and also have Caroline as a terrific back-up hostess who is very happy to accommodate you during your stay. Willow Pond Farm B & B has many returning guests who are welcome to reach out to us at any time. I'm always available to provide guests with local tips on restaurants, country markets and cafes, as well as recommendations for shopping and sightseeing. Whatever you need to store in terms of food or refreshments can be kept in the kitchen refrigerator, guest shelf, right next to your suite. Our Keurig coffee-maker is on the breakfast bar, ready to use any time independent of our fancy continental served daily! Other things to note For sport enthusiasts, bicycles or ski equipment can be stored in our garage.
