Ideal for medical professionals or those looking to relocate to the Roanoke area and want to get a real sense of the South Roanoke vibe. 1 month minimum stay. I love animals and babies. However, my home is filled with art and not conducive for young children and pets. I know... I'm sorry!! The basement in my home is what Airbnb would designate as a shared space. I keep my office there. It is also where the washer and dryer are located. The portion of the basement where my office is located is private and not available for guests. There are no walls enclosing my office and desk space. Depending on my work schedule, I will either be close by or very far away. I have a property manager that can answer questions in the event that I am not physically available. The Crystal Spring Ave area is a great neighborhood. Just a few blocks down the street you have two wonderful, very different places to hang out. The River and Rail restaurant, is more upscale but across the street is Fork in The Alley a relaxed family style pub, that has homemade pizza's, burgers and salads.. The family owned corner grocery, Tinnell's Finer Foods has a surprising selection of fine wines. Their pimento cheese spread and homemade ham biscuits are beloved by the locals. I take an armful of both when visiting friends out of town. There really isn't a more friendly, convenient neighborhood in the Roanoke valley. The downtown area is easily accessible by car. Jefferson Street, two blocks from Crystal Spring, is the main artery going through downtown Roanoke. It will take you 5 minutes to reach the heart of Downtown Roanoke by car from my home. If you like biking and walking paths, The Greenway, which runs along the Roanoke River is a few blocks from my home.
