If you are looking for a great secluded vacation with a change of scenery or a relaxing getaway to unplug, this is the place you have been looking for. The cabin is nestled in acres of woods and pasturelands and overlooks the lake. Spend the days relaxing, fishing and hanging out on the water. A great getaway for family and friends. The space The property has a wide variety of wildlife, including beaver, eagles, herons, and many other furry and feathered friends. The lake has a plethra of bluegill, crappie, large and small mouth bass, catfish and is great for fishing. The cabin has a full kitchen with stove, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, and coffee pot. It is stocked with a variety of pots, pans and dishware. The bathroom has a stand up shower with no bathtub. Most of the property, with the exception of directly around the cabin and an area for swimming, is grazed by beef cattle. There is a locked gate at the entrance to the cabin that must stay shut at all times for the cattle. The mama cows and calves will rarely come near you and it is important that they are left alone, but they are fun to watch. Guest access There is a canoe, rowboat and a kayak to use at the lake, and life jackets. There is a fire ring and a small load of wood is provided for you. There are also picnic tables on the screened in porch and out by the fire ring area. The outdoor grill uses charcoal. The cabin has its own private driveway. Other things to note A local bait shop and small grocery store are within a 10 minute drive. There are many great towns and places to eat within a short distance by car. Amish country is within 20 minutes and some great shopping is within a 30 minute drive. There are also many great parks for hiking and exploring close by such as Nelson Ledges and Mosquito Lake as well. There is a local bike path. Lake Erie is just a 45 minute drive. Most cell providers work well at the cabin.
