The studio's couch is a futon that makes a bed for the 3rd adult or 2 smaller children. NOTE: If booking for a total of 4 w/ 2 small kids, please send us a note since on AirBnB, it's 3 ppl max (the futon is too small for 2 adults). We also have a porta-crib if 3 adults + infant or toddler in the porta-crib) Parking is to the far left of the garage. Plenty of space to park larger vehicles or Alaska toys and trailers! The studio's entrance is to the left of the primary residence, around the back of the garage, and marked "Studio," it has a rock pathway. We use contactless check-in and out, and you will receive a message before arrival for the door code. Unless otherwise noted host or property caretaker is on site or nearby. Feel free to use the Air BnB app to message us or text us directly at the number we provide in the welcome message. Expansive property and no other dwellings in plain sight. Surrounded by 12 acres of nature, black spruce, white spruce, birch, and aspen trees. Have a trailer but need a respite - we have plenty of parking. You may see moose, foxes, birds, rabbits, and other Alaska wildlife. When solar storms are predicted, look up from the yard or drive a short way to see a different view of the Northern Lights! (~late Sept-April) We are just off of the Chena River boat launch so feel free to bring your boats, canoes, kayaks, and fishing gear! Access to snow machine trail from property. Walk down the driveway to the Chena River access, or drive over to the public launch. Ample parking and easy turnaround. The AK DOT does great work keeping the roads maintained in winter, and we are just off the main road. You can get about anywhere in Fairbanks or North Pole in 20 minutes. You will want to have access to a vehicle during your stay. You will find coffee, and breakfast items to get you started on your day in the studio, especially as many flights arrive very late or early to Fairbanks. The kitchen is well stocked with spices, dishware, utensils, cookware, and appliances to rival most homes. The bathroom has large-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap for your convenience. Kitchen detergent and a starter supply of laundry detergent are provided. If you have any special requests, celebrations or pre-arrival shopping, or other requests, do not hesitate to ask. We can not guarantee availability but we most certainly try to make your stay memorable. Unfortunately, we do not control the Northern Light activity, the weather, or the wildlife!
