Melissa’s Mountain Meadow

Welcome to Melissa’s Mountain Meadow! Come up and enjoy our peaceful cabin, with a panoramic view of the lake, meadow & the Historic Olsen Barn. A short walk out the back door, past the barn is the Feather River. Our home sits at the edge of Chester which creates privacy along with markets & restaurants near by. Breathe in the fresh mountain air, relax & rejuvenate, while you take in the breathtaking view of the meadow. The space Our cabin has two stories facing the meadow. The living room, one of the bathrooms and kitchen are on the first floor. The two other bedrooms and bathroom are on the second floor. The primary bedroom has a king bed. The nautical room has 2 full beds, and the downstairs bedroom has a queen bed. There’s a shower in both bathrooms. We also haveTV's in all rooms. There is a laundry room as well. Our outdoor space has a cocktail table on the front porch, and the backyard has a sitting area, fire pit, and charcoal bbq. (like most homes in the area, we do not have air conditioning. We have provided fans in every room for your comfort. We also suggest opening the windows in the evening to let in the cool air.) Guest access There’s plenty of room for parking on the property, even for our guests with boats! please no early arrival without pre-approval Other things to note The Lake Almanor area has so much to offer! So many amazing, beaches, water sports, hiking trails and thriving local businesses. Our suggestions are to take a 25 minute drive to Childs Meadow to enjoy a delicious meal at The Highlands Ranch Resort, or head over to Plumas Pines Resort on the west shore for a cocktail and the best view of the lake.
