The space We are a Horse and Dog Friendly Retreat with Barn, Pasture, and Comfortable Living Spaces The downstairs suite offers two bedrooms, each with a comfortable queen-size bed, closet, dresser, and TV. A full bath is included in the suite, plus there’s a half bath with washer and dryer located in the Powder/Tack/Laundry Room. The great room is designed for comfort and convenience, with a fully equipped kitchen featuring a large fridge, oven/cooktop, and all the necessary pots, pans, utensils, and dinnerware. The kitchen opens to a spacious living area with a sectional couch, TV, and dining table—perfect for gathering with family or friends. Outside, enjoy a covered sitting area, a fire pit, and a grill—ideal for relaxing evenings or entertaining guests. If you need a third bedroom, the upstairs studio apartment offers a private entrance from the outside onto a large wooden deck. It includes a queen-size bed, love seat, small dining table, full bath, and a kitchenette with a microwave and small refrigerator. The studio is available for an additional fee; please send an inquiry for total pricing. We are ready for horses! The property features a barn with two stalls and a fenced-in pasture (horses welcome for an additional fee). Guest access Upon arriving at The Restful Rooster, you will take the fork to the left. You are welcome to park anywhere in front of the barn. You will be given your special code for your stay to access the downstairs entrance in the barn, or the upstairs entrance from the wooden deck. You will have access to the entire area around the barn, and upstairs if it is included in your rental. As well as the fenced pasture, dog run, and swing set located on the main property just a stones throw away. We do allow dogs for a separate $50/dog/visit fee. You can use the fire pit with barbecue grill and there is plenty of parking, so no need to worry about multiple families with multiple vehicles. The RV hookups are located down the right side of the entrance (toward the main house.) Please inquire about availability when you book, for access. Other things to note We now have 2 stalls and a fenced in pasture. READY FOR HORSES! The Restful Rooster is located 12 minutes from the Pinehurst Fair Barn and show grounds, and the Pinehurst No. 2 golf course. The area features a host of golf attractions and equestrian events. Located 25 miles from the Carolina Horse Park and 16 miles from the Walthour Moss Foundation, you will be poised to experience a relaxing country getaway next to several famed North Carolina Sandhills golf and equestrian attractions. And don't forget the area's wonderful downtown shops and restaurants, in Pinehurst and Southern Pines. The wonderful NC Zoo is only 30 miles, in Asheboro. We are also 24 miles to Seagrove, NC famous for it's pottery.
