Enjoy the home’s private elevated infinity pool, outdoor kitchen & bar, laundry, swinging daybed, half bath all located on the open-air middle level (this is a shared space with the upstairs unit). Beach chairs, umbrella , cooler included. Located between West End and West Bay Beach and is perched above the ocean with beautiful views The tropical path to the beach is a 3 minute walk and whichever direction you walk on the beach you will find bars, restaurants, dive shops & entertainment. West End (to the right of the dock) is a unique village where you will get an authentic Caribbean experience with local bars and shops. West Bay Beach (to the left of the dock) is the most pristine beach on the island surrounded by tropical vegetation and fresh air outdoor restaurants, bars, gift shops and water sports. Water taxis are available from the Turtle Beach dock for $5 per person. Check out Gumbalimba Park for animal encounters and zip lining for the adventurer. You will find great snorkeling opportunities as well as an amazing dive shop right on the beach (Clearwater Dive Shop). From this location you never need to step foot on an actual road or rent a car if so desired. Direct flights to the Island are on United, American and Delta. We can arrange for your airport transfers for an additional fee of $40 each way up to 4 people, $10 for each person over 4 people ($60 if after 6pm). Driver will stop at the grocery store and wait for you to purchase your essentials. Laundry, fiber internet, and cable TV are all included in the daily rate. Electricity is included in the price; however, you must turn the A/C units off when leaving the house. The house is equipped with an ultraviolet water purification system making tap water safe for drinking and cooking so bring your reusable water bottles! Casa Nirvana recently sold, and the Property Manager (Aaron) is now the Host as well. Canadian travelers – bring US Dollars as banks here do not convert CDN to Lempiras, the local currency. Currency - all local businesses accept US Dollars in addition to Lempiras. US Dollars must be in pristine condition with no rips or tears, or they may not be accepted by businesses because the local banks won’t accept them. Passports – Prior to travel, please make sure your passports are valid at least 6 months prior to the expiration date. There have been incidents on the island where people have been detained at immigration and even not allowed to board their flight at their home airport due to this important detail. Energy - Always turn off AC units when not in the room, or when you leave the home. This will conserve energy usage on the island and keep costs down. Water - Be aware of your water usage. Conserve water by taking shorter showers. When using the washer, try doing full loads when possible. Your water comes from a cistern and may run dry with excessive water use.
