Rosses Chance Guest House

This lovely guest cottage is located on a historic 16 acre waterfront estate on Hudson Creek that includes a main house, barn, pool, dock and pond. Built in the 18th century tidewater style, the guesthouse is charming and well decorated and completely self efficient. A special place for your romantic getaway at any season of the year. Recently cell phone service has improved and is reliable. However, in the country, WiFi internetl can be slow at times as well as the Wifi TV streaming. The space The historic waterfront setting makes your stay here unique. The one bedroom has a Queen Size bed. There is fully equipped kitchen with DW, cook top, microwave and small counter top oven. Most spices are in the pantry. The cottage has a screen porch and a small brick patio with a view of the water and pool. Guest access Guests will have access to the pool and dock. You can bring your own fishing poles and kayaks (Life jackets are required in MD). The host can put you in contact with a local outfitter for kayak rentals. Guests are welcome to walk the 16 acre property and enjoy nature and bird watching. Bring your camera (and maybe bug spray) for summer or plan an autumn or winter visit with long brisk walks on empty country roads. Our roads are excellent for bike riding with little traffic and flat terrain. Other things to note $250 for 2 for the guest house per night in private queen size bedroom with full bath. $350 for 4, couch in living room pulls out to a queen size guest bed, but bath must be shared.
