Chic home, tucked behind Lymington's High Street

Description

Come here to potter to the town's boutiques, bars and boat-bobbing Quay. Or, discover endless acres of ancient woodlands & beautiful beaches just a short bike ride, or drive, away... The space But, wherever you day takes you, this home is perfect for nestling back into with your favourite people! Classically-chic, with a dash of contemporary-cool, the sleek palette is paired with playful pieces (spot your favourite album cover...), to make Nutmeg House as stylish as it is welcoming. Ideal for girly getaways or family get-togethers, there are four bedrooms to choose from (including a fab bunk room for 3), but our ABSOLUTE fave' has to be the bijou bedroom, with its en-suite & uber-cute, Carrie-esque closet!! From its sofas, to the curated finishing touches, and sociable layout - what better place to relax after days filled with New Forest adventures. Although Nutmeg House is a only a 30 second walk from the bustling High Street, calm, tranquillity & quiet await... it's perfect for sitting back & sipping something lovely. ** This property is available for rent with New Forest Escapes, who are a small local holiday cottage agency. Do contact us directly for best rates and availability a year in advance ** INSIDE... Starting in the living area... think pops of colour, textured soft furnishings, eclectic art & chic finishing touches. After feasting at the dining table, spread out on the uber-welcoming sofas to spend some quality time together. Filled by the adjoining courtyard's natural light by-day, this cosy room transforms into an ultra-snug cocoon by-night. With a generous hallway (find extra storage here), go past the downstairs cloakroom & fab bunk-room (Bedroom 1), to discover the kitchen. With enough room to coffee, chat or cook as you please, the round table (for 4) makes for a very sociable affair. The cupboards are full of plenty to cater with, and the tableware is all a smart uniform white. Leading off from the kitchen (just 7 steps up), bedroom 2 is ready to be discovered... It's home to a super king bed, TV, and sparkly en-suite bathroom... and meet our fave... the mini, Carrie-esque closet! Great for those who are first to rise (or perhaps last to bed!) - you may want to call shotgun right now? Upstairs, you'll find the spacious, family bathroom & two more bedrooms. Whilst bedroom 3 has the added bonus of a dressing area; both sanctuaries come equip with TV's, super king beds, plenty of natural light, and unique bits to swoon over. ... With its prime position, and added little extras, this central & stylish bolthole has fast become one of our favourite Lymington homes! OUTSIDE... Perfectly suited for both morning coffee, and evening sips; you'll find the private patio area (& outdoor tables) just off from the living room- with plenty of room for all guests. On sunny mornings, we recommend that you follow the freshly-baked bread smells to Jennings (a local baker whose Belgian buns are famous in these parts!) to bring back an alfresco brekkie that is sure to win brownie points- or, head a minute up the road to The Solent Cellar & stock-up on some delish drinks to sample as the sun sets.
