The room is on the 2nd floor of a three story house. There is a full kitchen and bath on the 2nd floor as well as a common area. There is a private entry in back but you can also you the front or side doors. Washer and dryer are in the basement. We are a 5 minute walk from a bus stop on High Street. This bus is regular (#2) and goes to Ohio State. The ride is 10-15 minutes. The house is very close to the Olentangy bike path. Ohio State University is about a 15 minute bike ride. 日本語 ok! The space We have a lot of experience with college students staying with us. Our students have come from Japan, China, Indonesia, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Kuwait and the U.S. We speak Japanese and English in the house. Notes: we do have a cat that lives with us and no overnight house guests allowed. It's a great place for people requiring a place to live for less than a year - traveling nurses, visiting hospital researchers, interns, students attending OSU for a semester, etc. Guest access Access is available to all areas other than other person's bedrooms. During your stay We live on the 1st floor and are available. Our 14 year old son's bedroom is on the 3rd floor and you may run into him now and again. Our 19 year old is home from college occasionally and sleeps on the 3rd floor when he is at home. Other things to note The bedroom has windows on the south and west walls - so plenty of sunshine! Please expect to share the common spaces with others. On site parking available for $100/month.
