The house was clean, and very enjoyable." -Jeff, Airbnb guest Things to know before renting Seminole Sunrise on lovely Lake Martin 1) We welcome you to our home at Seminole Sunrise —a cottage in a quiet and peaceful area of Lake Martin! It is a perfect place for families (with kids) looking to make wonderful memories. Because of our family location, no parties! Our home is designed for a maximum of 8 adults, up to groups of 10 with combined adults and children. 2) Our dock is available for your boat, but it is fairly small and can handle only 1 boat (22 feet or smaller). It is perfect for standard pontoon boats for full days on the lake! The Lake water level is lowered in the fall, making docking impossible during parts of the year 3) The paved driveway is fairly steep. While this is only a minor issue for cars, it can make maneuvering with a trailer more challenging. See the listing photos for more reference. There is a small spot in the parking area to allow for cars to maneuver and turn around. 4) The countryside has critters. We have an exterminator who provides excellent scheduled service. However, bugs and critters will still occasionally enter the property from time to time, and the guest can either trap and free the insect or kill it. We will not judge, but it is part of country life in ANY home here. Ants are a problem at the lake, so clean crumbs off counters and floors (this is wherever you book!) 5) There is no fence separating the home from the water, so supervise children at all times and keep the doors locked. Absolutely no diving for your own safety! 6) Like most lake homes, we can get hit with inclement weather...this can lead to power outages and internet outages. If that happens, you may have to spend extra time boating on the lake! Guest access Fairly steep driveway can easily hold 2 vehicles with a boat, and this allows for maneuvering. There is space for 2 additional vehicles (total of 4) to park behind the original two vehicles, but this will make maneuvering out more difficult
