The villa is located 30 minutes from SJO airport by car and 45 minutes by bus. For your peace of mind a motion sensing security camera with flood lights is installed to monitor the exterior of the property which is located behind a secure electric gate. The local house manager lives near by if any issues should arise during your stay. Guest access Access will be given by the house manager on arrival. Parking in the carport is encouraged. Other things to note Hello, We provide breakfast groceries from the local farmers market & organic artisan toiletries at check-in for your convenience and enjoyment! Once you have parked in the carport you should have no problems with any steps. There are zero steps to and in the main house. The casita has steps to the entry from the garden, but none from the carport! There are air conditioning units in the master bedroom, kitchen, sunroom and casita. The only spaces without dedicated units are the 2 guest bedrooms. This was based on need and space. The average temperatures for our microclimate are lows at night of 60°F, and highs of 80°F high during the day making air conditioning unnecessary in the evening/sleep time. Atenas has less sunlight and more precipitation during the months of May - October. You may in fact need layers and blankets at night which of course we provide!
