Start your days with a trip to the cafe directly across the street, then drive five minutes to the trailheads of the magnificent Arcata Community Forest. Highway access is only three minutes away as well. The space Hidden behind privacy hedges, The Sunny Cottage sits serenely on a half-acre and is great for those traveling with kids. In the primary suite you will find a king-sized bed, while the secondary suite boasts a queen. Plus, there is a fold-out couch in the living room comfortably sleep up to six people. Make a quick trip to a local grocery store, then prepare a multiple-course meal. Get cozy in the living room, we invite you to log into your own streaming services, and enjoy the use of our smart TV. The bathroom features a shower and tub combo. A dedicated workspace accommodates those who work from home. Washer and dryer are available onsite for your convenience. Guest access There are two dedicated off-street parking spaces in the driveway, plus ample street parking. We welcome you to enjoy the entire cottage with the exception of the off-limits loft in the second bedroom, which essentially a converted loft area that we have removed the ladder to for liability reasons. A detached garage and storage shed are not accessible to guests. Other things to note Because The Sunny Cottage is located near an elementary school, you may experience a slight delay due to traffic from morning drop-off and afternoon pickup. -Regular lawn maintenance is scheduled between 11-4pm on Fridays.
