Cozy Arctic Den w/Hot Tub, Close to JBER/Downtown

Welcome to the Arctic Den! Updated private lower-level unit perfectly located for all your vacation needs. Close to downtown Anchorage, hospitals, University of Alaska and right next to JBER. Being right next to the highway makes it convenient if you are exploring past city limits. You will love the modern Alaskan theme, quiet neighborhood and privacy. Features a coffee bar, hot tub, backyard, and washer/dryer. The space This property is a single-family home that we converted into a private lower-level rental unit. No one will be staying in the upper unit during your stay. This unit has 1-bedroom, and a bonus room. Full bathroom (no bathtub) small kitchenette with a mini fridge, induction cooktop (NO STOVE), & microwave. There are technically 2 bedrooms, but to get to the second bedroom you have to walk through the main bedroom. The bedrooms are separated by a curtain. There is a huge walk-in closet that includes hangers, a steamer, iron & ironing board and a vanity/desk with chair. There is one full bathroom with a shower and no bathtub. The hot tub is not shared so during your stay it is all yours! It is usable year-round. Hot tub is cleaned once per week along with being drained, cleaned & refilled every 3 months by a local hot tub company who lets us know 24 hours in advance before they show up. We will let you know as soon as they call us. It takes about 12-24 hours for the hot tub to heat back up after being cleaned. This may occur during your stay. This is Alaska! We get a ton of snow in the winter. We do our absolute best in keeping the pathway & area clear of snow. Guest access You park on the street in front of the home, follow the pathway through the fence to the backyard where you have your own private entrance. We send check in information the day before your stay that includes a code to the door, so you have keyless entry. Other things to note - 10 min to downtown - 45 min to Alyeska - 20 min to Ted stevens Airport Checkout is 10am. We try our best to accommodate late checkouts. Unauthorized late check outs will be charged $25 per 15 minutes, no exceptions, as our cleaning crew will be waiting if they are not notified in advance. You may request a later checkout 24 hours prior to checkout. Extra charges for missing/damaged linens. $2 hand towel, $5 bath towel, $10 hot tub towel,$10 pillowcase, $20 sheet, $45 blanket. We provide makeup towel, please use them to avoid an extra charge. We do not allow "House Parties" but can accommodate celebrations like birthday parties, bachelorette parties, etc. with a fee of $50 per extra guest (over 11 people) and $50 dump fee for excess trash. Hot tub is usable all winter but not guaranteed when below freezing. • Even though we adore pets, they are not allowed. We have outside cameras, if we see a pet, you will be asked to leave the property and fined a fee of $200. • No Smoking inside, but you may smoke outside. Please do not leave cigarette butts on the ground. Again, we have camera’s outside, and you will be fined $150 for littering on the property. • Please remove shoes when entering the home, it’s Alaska outside! And please be extremely careful outside as it is can be very icy & slick.
