The space Beautiful location on Lakeside Mountain with two adjoining lots for 2.36 acres of pure privacy overlooking Lake Toxaway & gazing into the distant Blue Ridge Mountains. This recently updated, contemporary home is surrounded with windows, sliders & fixed glass to capture the outdoors from every angle. A split floor plan provides privacy for two families with views from every bedroom. The light filled living/dining area optimizes the views with access to the wrap-around deck equipped with gas grill and outdoor dining area. Sit back and enjoy the wood burning fireplace (wood provided) or the large flat screen TV. If cards is your game, take advantage of the poker table equipped with cards, chips, and even roulette. The gourmet kitchen offers granite counters & new appliances equipped with everything you need to prepare your home cooked meals. The Hawk’s Nest sits above the main level with magnificent views and privacy that’s perfect for reading or quiet solitude. Below the main floor is an entertainment room equipped with a kitchenette and pool table/ping pong/ice hockey table. A large comfortable sectional is centered on the large screen projector with a theater quality surround sound system that makes watching your favorite movies or television shows extra enjoyable. If you prefer your fires outside, mosey down to the outdoor firepit and roast some marsh mellows while you gaze at the beautiful stars. Soak in the new hot tub with six seats including a lounger with mountain views. Guests of this property have access to Lake Toxaway marina (country club not included). Guests may rent boats, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, and skis/tubes by the hour, day or week. Easy drive to incredible hiking and biking trails, and fishing and in the heart of Transylvania, Land of Waterfalls. Our property is centrally located between two charming mountain towns with great shopping and restaurants. Come explore the state and national forest that is within minutes of the property or enjoy a beautiful drive to Cashiers (only 13 miles west) or Brevard (only 19 miles east), or just sit and enjoy your own great views right in the back yard! Guest access LAKE ACCESS - You must complete the permission form to access the lake and keep with you. Guests may rent deck/pontoon boats, canoe, paddle boards, kayaks, ski's, tubes & toys rent direct from Lake Toxaway Marine. COUNTRY CLUB- Guest DO NOT have access to anything. This is a private PAID club. HOWEVER, The Greystone Inn has a Nice Bar & Restaurant that guests can access without club membership. They have indoor/outdoor seating. 220 Greystone Ln, Lake Toxaway Nc PLAYGROUND - There is also a very nice, large playground for kids in the front of the neighborhood including swings, climbing towers, sand boxes, etc. There is also an outdoor pavilion at the top of one of the mountains. The drive may be pretty steep to some but there's a large field, playground, outdoor fireplace, and bathrooms. Across the street is a very nice trail that takes you through a meadow with beautiful wild flowers in the spring/summer. There are other hiking trails inside the neighborhood as well if you are interested in a longer hike. Other things to note This home is located in Lake Toxaway Estates. The home is not lake front however in the winter months we can see the water from our home. You do have the ability to access the lake, but we do not provide any equipment. You are able to rent deck/pontoon boats, canoe, paddle boards, kayaks, ski's, tubes & toys from Lake Toxaway Marine. All pricing and information are located on their website.
