Our place is perfect for you and your loved one to escape your daily routine, recharge, relax and reconnect. The getaway features: PRIVATE salt water POOL and Garden Spa-like bathroom with soaking tub, refreshing 24 inch rain shower. Smart TV+WIFI in every room including bathroom. Central location with close proximity to TIAA Bank Field, airport, Downtown, Florida Theater, Times Union PAC. Walking distance to local restaurants and breweries. Hope to see you soon! The space Winter season is the best time to visit Florida, gentle weather and rental rates are down. The place has romantic vibes, most of our guests are coming from all over the country for special occasions such as proposals, honeymoons, anniversaries or simply for a getaway, solo or as a couple. Romantic decorations are available at extra cost depending on desired complexity $110 and up. Please provide your ideas and inspirational pictures to have your dream decorations or have our decorator to surprise you, the choice is yours. For complex orders, please place your order in advance so the decorator has enough time to place special orders if needed. Certain standard decorations are available at any time. Contact host for details and standard package price list if interested. Situated in close proximity to the best places in town, our tiny gem house is one of a kind beauty. Simple eclectic minimalist interiors with handmade feel, green outdoor space with plush tropical vegetation and multiple outdoor lounging areas. Beautiful private saltwater pool that won't be shared with ANYONE. Neighboring house is managed by us and all windows facing pool are covered with frosted glass for your privacy. Note, the courtyard is as private as it can be in downtown residential area. Pool could be heated for you at extra cost $75 per day for 2 days minimum. If heating is desired, it needs to be ordered in advance. Typically at least 2-3 days advance notice is required to allow for heating time. Heating may not be possible during very cold weather. In general, if air temperature drops below 50 - 60 degrees or rain is projected during your stay, heating the pool may not be a good idea. Please consult host if any questions. The house is equipped with a kitchenette that includes Nespresso Coffee or Keurig coffee machine (whichever you prefer), assorted coffee flavors, teas and milk frother for your favorite barista recipes, Bullet smoothie maker for your healthy morning smoothies, toaster. Microwave is available to reheat meals but please keep in mind - there is NO stove, oven or grill. There are numerous local places on Main Street and around the corner where you could order delicious local food instead of spending your vacation in the kitchen. Let me know if you are interested in any local suggestions. Spa like bath and rain shower with softened water. Plenty of bath, face towels and wash cloths will be provided. Makeup removing towels and cloths are available. Light blocking curtains/shades in the bedroom/bathroom/living room so you can get your beauty sleep at any time. Guest access Plenty of on street parking in front of the house. Please do NOT block neighbor’s driveway, note, their driveway is NOT paved (grassy). You can park anywhere in front of our house or in front of the fenced side yard or right across the street, we always have plenty of space. Make sure to park in the direction of traffic to avoid getting a parking ticket. And please keep your vehicle locked to discourage handle checkers. Other things to note If you would like to elope with your loved one for a hassle free wedding - let us know, we can arrange a porch or courtyard intimate ceremony with a local friendly notary next door. Please note, private getaway is only suitable for a couple of people. Do not book if you are planing on bringing more even if only for daytime activities and not overnight stay. Up to two people only are allowed on the property at any time. We do NOT host any animals due to severe allergies in family members including the one who is responsible for cleaning. If you bring any animals with you, your reservation will be canceled. We understand that some people may have a need for a comfort animal, please have a courtesy and book a different place that gladly accepts animals and not risk my family members health. Our place is not suitable for young children but we did successfully host babies under 1 year of age. If your young child is getting around on their own we can't accept your reservation due to child safety issues. Due to overwhelming number of requests for early check ins or late check outs we are no longer able to accommodate this. Please book an extra day if you wish to stay longer. If guest checks out late they will be charged extra to pay our cleaning crew for expedited cleaning services. Pool is NOT heated unless previously arranged. If you wish to heat the pool in cooler months it is $75 per day for a minimum of 2 days - we can’t heat the pool for less than 2 days to justify the cost. Keep in mind, in extreme weather during winter water temperature may not reach your desired temperature even with heating. We use electric pool heat pump, not a gas heater. If you decide to order pool heating against our advice, we would not be able to refund the heating charges once the heater has been turned on. We are not in control of the weather. Please be kind and not leave us a bad review because of the bad weather during your trip. Wednesday is our yard and pool cleaning days. Our maintenance crew will be entering the garden. Pool cleaning is done in the morning, the cleaner is very fast and quiet so if you are still sleeping, he won't wake you up. Yard maintenance is in the late afternoon. Your privacy won't be disturbed for long but it is a necessity to keep the garden beautiful. Our garden is a natural garden, we don’t use pesticides so don’t be surprised to see a lot of Florida creatures: birds, lizards, frogs, mosquitoes, etc. Please keep all doors shut if you don’t want to share your bed with them. You may open windows as they have screens on them. Optional romantic decoration packages are available at extra cost $110 and up, please contact the host for details if interested. Guest does not have an access to utility room. The entrance door is from the bedroom and it will be locked during your stay. Security camera locations: - 2 on the front porch monitoring street - 1 door lock camera on the front door - 1 camera overseeing pool deck. ABSOLUTELY NO INDOOR CAMERAS - this would be a violation of your privacy. Security cameras are unmonitored but are there to ensure guest and house safety and security and not to invade your privacy.
