We are centrally located near all of the best that San Antonio has to offer, from the Zoo to the Riverwalk to sporting events at the Alamodome! We are less than a half mile from Incarnate Word. The home is directly across the street from the Witte Museum, the San Antonio Zoo and Brackenridge Park so it’s great for adults, families and kids. Adults have a blast with the local restaurants next door. Kids have a blast in the small pool with mini waterfall and the fun zoo-themed home with cool animal and jungle decor. You can walk to the parks around the zoo, which include miles of trails and tree-covered park benches, with a miniature train for kids to ride! The beautiful Botanical Gardens are also right down the street, and the Doseum is about a mile away. The free Japanese Gardens are also across the street next to the Zoo. For adults, there is a great barbecue place next door that has great food, drinks and even a playground to keep the kids occupied! The Pearl, which is a fantastic area with shopping, restaurants, farmer's market and children's splash pad, is 5 minutes by car. In addition, the Brackenridge Golf Course and downtown are all 5-10 minutes by car. The Alamodome is an 8-minute drive away. And the Rodeo is about 14 minutes away at AT&T Center! The holiday lights on Broadway Street and at Incarnate Word University will wow you! We are very close to Incarnate Word (a half-mile or so). The spacious and eclectic living room has room for the whole family, and our dining room table is big enough for 8 people. We have a classic mid-century modern bar as well. We have games on hand for you to enjoy. The full-sized kitchen with island includes all items you need, from cookware, utensils, a blender, a coffee maker, coffee and much more. The bedrooms all include Roku TVs and plenty of pillows, blankets and accessories, such as a sleep machine, to keep you comfortable and to sleep soundly. Our first guests said they slept better than they had in a long time! Escape into the jungle-like backyard for outdoor fun all year, with outdoor seating, and even a heated small lounge pool! (This is smaller than a pool but larger than a spa.) Our garage has a dartboard, a poker tabletop and a small gathering spot for more fun outdoors. • We provide travel-sized shampoo, soap and conditioner; dish soap; laundry soap; toilet paper; and one roll of paper towels. • Our coffee maker is a regular coffee maker with a coffee pot. Our kitchen includes a gas stove and all of the pots, pans and utensils you need to cook! We have a blender, wine glasses, and more. We provide coffee! • We have wifi, a smart-tv in the living room, and an alarm system if you wish to use it. • We have a pack-n-play and a high chair available to use. • We also provide a Gas Grill BBQ pit in the backyard, and an outdoor propane heater! • Bonus space (garage) features a foosball table, dartboard and portable poker table top! The neighborhood is full of families or young couples and is very safe! Other things to note We are next door to one of the best BBQ places in the south: The Smoke Shack! If you don't feel like cooking, pop next door! It is so delicious!! The outdoor bar/event area, The PigPen, is now open again and their brunch is the BEST. They have delicious brisket nachos, beer and a playground for the kids. It is a BLAST. Cappy's is also very close and has an upscale Brunch. Another great new restaurant nearby is called The Hayden.
