Other things to note Wildlife is all around; bears, bobcats, turkeys, mountain lions, owls, eagles, & hawks can be seen but are rare. Except for the turkeys, we see them fairly often! Just keep your eyes peeled and DO NOT approach ANY wild animals for any reason. We are on well water but have a water softening system that supplies the whole cabin. If this is something you're not used to, we recommend bringing your own bottled water. We are on our own septic. PLEASE do not flush ANYTHING but toilet paper down the commodes and do not dump any grease down the sink.
