The space As we go into a new season, the southern foothills of the sequoias are stunning to witness . This large artist's studio and grounds are a retreat style property created for your comfort and pleasure. This separate unit although attached to the main house, where the hosts are empty nesters and are often traveling but occasionally present, the guest's privacy is the priority. No one wanders the property except for occasional yard upkeep, deer, quail, an occasional bear (or three) and other wildlife. Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon as well as the famous General Grant & Sherman Grove of Giant Forest, Mineral King and Morro Rock are all within your reach from the DaVidgil House. (always check park websites for the latest info and weather) Each season has its beauty, the rivers are flowing, and an El Niño year is rumored…It is a stupendous time to visit the amazing parks! . The king size bed is often noted by our guests for comfort and the second bed listed is for outdoor summer time only, $100 per stay. Expect a beautiful and solitary time, (always lots of privacy), this stunning property is just five minutes from the center of town. With multiple outdoor dining and lounging areas your stay in nature will feel magical. The studio comprises the entire bottom floor of our property with its own entrance off the terraces facing the grounds and the river. It's beautifully situated in an open and stylish space that feels expansive and interesting. With beautiful light and everything you need this studio with gorgeous walkways and private entrance will provide a haven for your stay. Walk over to the seasonal river and use this home as a sanctuary to the several National Parks and the delightful town of Three Rivers, California. The summer sleeping deck is optional but available without bedding (unless requested for an additional $100) and would depend on weather restrictions. Cut and paste Guest access You have everything you need for a comfortable stay in this spacious (600 sq ft) studio including a King size organic, springless mattress, park like surroundings, amazing views from every window, private outdoor eating space, a wood-burning stove, indoor dining table, a large screen TV and entertainment center, your own kitchenette, kettle, two burner stove-top, and small fridge, etc. Please be our guests and enjoy it to the fullest. Only nice people need apply... and we will do our best to provide a beautiful stay for you! ; ) * The optional sleeping platform ($100 per reservation made up with overnight bedding) with mosquito netting is only available at certain times, would depend on weather and availability. “Community Fee is County Tax” Other things to note This studio with its private entrance is situated on about five acres and on one of the Forks of the Kaweah River; go this direction to Lady Bug Trail, and although our river is stunning, it can go from a spring roar to a gentle babble depending on weather. In late summer we recommend several amazing swimming holes, often nearly private for our adventurous and fit guests, and include several in our listing photos . LadyBug also has amazing winter and spring roaring rivers, gorgeous spring flowers, lady bugs and a few amazing sequoia groves and can be accessed via a rigorous but rewarding hike. In the winter time we get you started with wood for the wood-burning stove but ask that you pick up extra or we have some available for $10 a bundle (probably a better deal than the market)
