Glass artist and cats will welcome you to our wonderful city. If you care about the environment and love animals and plants, you will feel right at home in my Victorian home, containing glass and ceramic art, solar panels and more! The space This is a beautiful Victorian home on a side street. It is filled with stained glass windows that I have created and other artwork. The kitchen and sunny living room are on the first floor and are surrounded by a wrap around porch (which often sports great sunsets) and yard with fruit trees and flowers. You will enjoy a large bedroom with private bath on the second floor. There is a ceiling fan, desk, closet and dresser and your bed has new bamboo mattress topper. My home is not suitable for very young children, but if your child is a bit older and well-behaved I am happy to provide a futon at no extra charge. Guest access You are very welcome to hang out on the deck and yard (weather permitting) and use the living room. I am also happy to show you my studio. During your stay I moved to Pittsburgh many years ago and love it here! I hike, kayak, listen to jazz, and often attend films or other cultural events. I am happy to provide information about restaurants, places to go and things to see! However, your space is on a separate floor, so you will have as much privacy as you desire. Other things to note If you have cat allergies, unfortunately you should look elsewhere. If you like cats, mine are clean, quiet and sociable. They are rescue animals, so somewhat shy but not at all aggressive. They do not ordinarily go into your room (which is closed when I do not have guests) although you are free to invite them to visit. I have ceiling fans, but if air conditioning is important to you, you should book a different place.
